Mike and Erica’s Wedding|Gates Mills, Ohio

Mike asked to Erica to marry him on the 9th Street Pier in downtown Cleveland. The months of wedding planning went quickly and the big day arrived. Almost 400 guests, from as far as Italy, were to attend the ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi in Gates Mills on a beautiful day in June. A lovely wedding filled with family and faith.

Erica’s dad mentioned to me that there was a tradition of “Italian” fireworks before sending off his daughter to the wedding ceremony at the church.

After the wedding ceremony, we took a drive to Cleveland Cultural Gardens and Cleveland Museum of Art’s Wade Oval for some creative photos before kicking off the reception.

Candace + Chad: Cleveland Engagement Session

Another beautiful summer evening in downtown Cleveland. Perfect night for Candace and Chad’s engagement session. When they booked me to shoot their wedding at Conrad Botzum Farmstead for this October, they mentioned they wanted to do their engagement session in downtown Cleveland-a definite contrast from the farm. Well, this session is VERY Cleveland!

Lilly Handmade Chocolates

I met Amanda several years ago when my colleague, Honey Lazar was working on a personal photography project. Amanda and her husband Josh are classically trained chefs who own and operate Lilly’s Handmade Chocolates in Tremont in Cleveland, Ohio. Honey and I had some fun visiting them again and making new photographs with their chef-in-training.
