I love photographing such a lovely family wedding. From Marie’s uncle officiating the mass at St. Patrick’s in Cleveland to family fun at the reception at St. Dementrios in Rocky River, Marie and Brad’s Northeast Ohio wedding went off without a hitch.

A Short Story
Off to photograph on a Monday afternoon. Not unusual, but this shoot was a wedding.
Ryan came home from boot camp and asked his beautiful girlfriend, Alyssa to marry him. Alyssa and Ryan had two weeks to plan their wedding and get married before Ryan would be off to serve our country. Sure you could run up to the courthouse to get hitched, but Alyssa wanted her grandfather to walk her down the aisle and to share their moment of happiness with all of their family and friends.
Shooting with Joe
Joe Applebaum is the reason I became a photographer.
Twenty years ago (I can’t believe I’m writing it), I took my first high school photography class. Joe was my teacher. He was patient, kind, and he always gave good a critique.
It was Joe who encouraged me to study photography. He believed in me, which gave me the courage to apply to the Cleveland Institute of Art.
He took me to assist him on my first wedding.
Now and then, Joe calls to ask about my business and my family. I ask him about my high school and about his new talented kids. Sometimes, he asks me to second shoot for him on a wedding.
I am ALWAYS happy to oblige.
