I enjoy photographing engagement sessions for couples. When Mike was ready to propose to his beautiful girlfriend, Erica, he wanted me to photograph them getting engaged. How exciting is that to be asked to capture the moment when someone asks the love of their life, “Will you marry me?”
I love photographing such a lovely family wedding. From Marie’s uncle officiating the mass at St. Patrick’s in Cleveland to family fun at the reception at St. Dementrios in Rocky River, Marie and Brad’s Northeast Ohio wedding went off without a hitch.

When they booked me to shoot their wedding at Conrad Botzum Farmstead for this October, they mentioned they wanted to do their engagement session in downtown Cleveland-a definite contrast from the farm. Well, this session is VERY Cleveland!
When you get an opportunity to photograph an aspiring photographer, it makes shooting her senior portrait session twice as fun. Sophie enjoyed the occasional flip of the back of my camera take a peek at the composition or to see the lighting. It made me remember how much I love being a photographer.

Their beautiful new classroom is the perfect place for an event, especially for a lovely birthday girl who loves Frozen( And what 7 year-old doesn’t love Frozen?!) Time to break out the buttercream!
