Another beautiful summer evening in downtown Cleveland. Perfect night for Candace and Chad’s engagement session. When they booked me to shoot their wedding at Conrad Botzum Farmstead for this October, they mentioned they wanted to do their engagement session in downtown Cleveland-a definite contrast from the farm. Well, this session is VERY Cleveland!
When you get an opportunity to photograph an aspiring photographer, it makes shooting her senior portrait session twice as fun. Sophie enjoyed the occasional flip of the back of my camera take a peek at the composition or to see the lighting. It made me remember how much I love being a photographer.
I was very excited for the opportunity to be White Flower Cake’s official photographer for their events happening in their new location in Solon, Ohio. Their beautiful new classroom is the perfect place for an event, especially for a lovely birthday girl who loves Frozen( And what 7 year-old doesn’t love Frozen?!) Time to break out the buttercream!
When Jourdan mentioned that Jake proposed to her at Edgewater Beach, I knew that would be the perfect place for their engagement session. And of course they had to bring the new love in their lives, little Jace.

I met Amanda several years ago when my colleague, Honey Lazar was working on a personal photography project. Amanda and her husband Josh are classically trained chefs who own and operate Lilly’s Handmade Chocolates in Tremont in Cleveland, Ohio. Honey and I had some fun visiting them again and making new photographs with their chef-in-training.
March 29th was a snowy and cold spring day, but with so much warmth and joy at Neil and Allison’s Cleveland wedding celebration it didn’t matter at all. A love story shines through with every photograph I took.
It was nice to finally meet baby Noah. At seven days old, this handsome little guy was a joy to photograph!
Off to photograph on a Monday afternoon. Not unusual, but this shoot was a wedding.
Ryan came home from boot camp and asked his beautiful girlfriend, Alyssa to marry him. Alyssa and Ryan had two weeks to plan their wedding and get married before Ryan would be off to serve our country. Sure you could run up to the courthouse to get hitched, but Alyssa wanted her grandfather to walk her down the aisle and to share their moment of happiness with all of their family and friends.
So why not get married on a Monday?
